This remote, two half-day training event via Zoom is intended for New Mexico fruit and vegetable growers and others interested in Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule requirements, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), co-management of natural resources and food safety, and developing a farm food safety plan.
NOTE: This course is not intended for FDA Employees.

Registration and Fees: Online registration is available (credit card payments only) and space is limited. The fee is $56.05 for U.S. residents only.
Registration includes: A required hard copy manual, mailed via U.S. Mail to the address that you provide and expected to arrive before the class. If shipping delays prevent on-time delivery, you will be offered a spot in the next available class. Register and pay for a session here.

The webinar log-in link and password will be provided following registration, the week prior to the start of the course. You will need access to the internet, as well as a video camera and microphone. Registrants are strongly encouraged to attend a practice session that will be held to test connectivity and resolve any issues before the class begins the following Tuesday.

Upon completing the full 8-hour interactive course, growers will receive a certificate to help satisfy the new Food Safety Modernization Act guidelines. Attendance for both 4-hour sessions (with video and audio) is mandatory; any exceptions require prior approval.
