The Pesticide Compliance Staff:
- Works to ensure compliance with pesticide laws and regulations concerning the use of pesticides.
- Certifies and licenses people who apply pesticides.
- Ensures pesticide products in New Mexico are properly registered.
- Investigates suspected misuse of pesticides.
All 2025 license renewal forms have been mailed out, and we have begun processing them via online email submissions.
If you do not receive your renewal form by the end of November, please email pesticide compliance at pesticides@nmda.nmsu.edu.

Pay a pesticide product registration fee or pesticide license fee
Follow the steps below after pressing the PAY NOW button
- Find Pesticide Compliance and click on view category
- Fill in the dollar amount from the invoice we provided, and use the invoice number to fill in that required field
- Click add to cart
- Click on the cart at the top of the page
- Click on Checkout
- Click on Continue at bottom of the page
- Enter Name and Phone Number (should match earlier fields)
- Select the payment method, and continue following the remaining steps per page. (Credit cards require a 2.95% convenience fee; Electronic checks are free)
