ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Fairgoers can expect more local flavor than ever at the 2025 New Mexico State Fair, with the return of the Country Store, daily Reds, Whites and Brews Happy Hours, and interactive exhibits—all hosted in and around the newly upgraded Agriculture Building.

A vendor pours rosé wine into glasses at the Happy Hours wine bar during the New Mexico State Fair. Guests watch from across the counter, surrounded by local wine bottles and signage for “Viva Vino.”

Happy hours will be held daily from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Agriculture Building courtyard, featuring New Mexico-made wines and brews, courtesy of the New Mexico Wine and Grape Growers Association and the New Mexico Brewers Guild. Find the wine bar inside the Country Store for samples of award-winning wines.

“The Country Store and courtyard offer a one-of-a-kind space to celebrate local flavors and ag education,” said New Mexico Secretary of Agriculture Jeff Witte. “Come sip, shop and explore what makes New Mexico agriculture so special.”

A large outdoor sign reads “New Mexico Taste the Tradition Country Store” with a list of local products and free samples. Fairgoers walk toward the entrance of the Agriculture Building under signs promoting New Mexico chile.

Presented in partnership with What’s In Store, the Country Store will feature local goods, root beer floats and merchandise including T-shirts and hats. The store will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the duration of the fair.

Inside the south wing of the Agriculture Building, fairgoers can also enjoy gameshow-style trivia and step inside a life-size milk carton photo booth—just some of the fun and educational ag exhibits on display.

Fairgoers browse tables filled with New Mexico-made food products inside the Country Store at the New Mexico State Fair. A vendor sits behind a table displaying items with the “New Mexico–Taste the Tradition” banner.
