Each establishment that is registered with the New Mexico Department of Agriculture (NMDA), must submit an application in addition to the following fees:
- $150 for the establishment registration
- $50 for each service technician/employee doing service work on commercial weighing and measuring devices
Please note a late fee of $100 will be required if the application is not filed prior to the expiration date of the current registration.
Scale sizes are as follows:
- Precision - Class I or Class II
- Small - up to 1,000 lbs
- Medium - more than 1,000 but less than 10,000 lbs
- Large - over 10,000 lbs
